The curious case of Sachin Tendulkar

By | March 8, 2009

Sachin Tendulkar seems to be getting better of  himself day by day. Well the 3rd ODI against New Zealand on March 8th, 2009 proves the statement I made. I was speechless as I witnessed one of the finest innings by the Master. The Madam Tassaud guys thought that it was high time they get one Sachin made. Yes, the wax statue is gonna be there soon. Tendulkar scored his 43rd century, guiding India to mammoth total of 392. India equalled their record of 18 sixes in a match in which 5 were from the Little master. Sachin stroked his way to 163 off just 133 deliveries before he was forced to retire hurt due to stomach muscle pull. He exploited  the short boundary at Lancaster Park and proved that he’s still the KING of the battleground.

India won the match by 58 runs and leads the series 2-0.

Sachin Tendulkar – I bow down to you.
