As you can see from the title, I was very determined to do a collage on my own and I began working on it on May 20th, 2008. The concept was to do a collage of a friend which shows his different shades, I scanned through all my memory devices which had photos and sorted out few after deciding who the friend will be. The friend was ‘Pramod’. Now, I opened the photos one by one in photoshop and after that I was blank because I had no clue what to do. It was time to get a mentor and it was none other than the guy who had presented me with one. I should say that he guided me without any hesitation and i took his advice like an obedient student, but after that it was no stopping, I can proudly say i have surpassed him. I started my work by 1pm, with great patience i finished it by 3.45pm sharp. Below is Pramod’s collage.
The background image I used was one with sun and its rays signified different shades of the person. I was very happy with the end product and so were my friends. Below are two more collages one of Santosh Joshi and other Srikiran.
Within a span of two days I was kinda pro in doing collages. I could do them in a jiffy and the only difficulty was selecting the snaps required for the collage. Hope to do some more creative things.
